General details: This Mini Cooper for sale is a relatively clean car. Unfortunately, it does not come with a service-book. However, our enquiries indicate that it was serviced about 12ks ago. Given that we did not want to operate the car without a service, we recently went ahead and had it serviced by Sydney Performance Centre (Smithfield NSW). This car has a push button start, and comes with two keys. *The car is due for registration on 14 July 2023 (NSW). Tyres are about half life. The paint seems good, some minor stone chips at the front, some gutter rash on some of the wheels, the car’s condition seems to be better than average condition, though we cannot offer any guarantee, warranty or assurance that the car is in good condition. Prospective buyers should conduct their own research as to the car’s condition. (see more below in our terms and conditions section)

Price guide: Price Guide: According to Redbook the wholesale price indictated is between $9,450 – $12,050 -and- selling (retail price) is between $12,400 – $14,950. Seemingly equivilent cars for sale on Carsales also indicate prices in these pricing regions.

Our repossessed cars for sale

Repossession of a car typically occurs after you fall behind on your loan payments. Depending on a loan contract, the lender (usually a bank or finance company) may be able to take possession of the car, meaning repossessing it, to sell it to recover the money owed on the car. Pawnbrokers do not repossess cars, rather the terms and conditions of pawn contracts, which align with relevant Pawnbroker laws, allow the pawnbroker to sell the car which is usually always, already, in the possession of the pawnbroker; so there is no physical act of repossesion.

As mentioned above, we advertise our cars for sale for 30 days, after which, if they are not sold in that time, we either sell them through a public auction or to a car dealership.

Our ‘price guidance’ is only a rough indication based on information obtained from Redbook and other opn market sources. Thus, our pricing guide should not be relied on and prospective buyers should conduct their own pricing searches and enquiries.

We are open to all genuine offers (low ball offers are not considered genuine). If you are considering purchasing a car that we have for sale, you should be aware that we will only accept a monetry sale price, we will not make swaps or trades.

U-Pawn is not a car dealership. We are not in the business of buying and selling cars. Our aim is to recover the money owed to us pursuant to the terms and conditions of the relevant pawn contract.
